Disappointed

I bought this item for my aluminum Christmas. Thought it might be fun to revisit my Grandmother’s old Christmas tree memories this year. What a disappointment. It is noisy and doesn’t work. I would not recommend this item. Maybe a different brand will work but this one doesn’t!

Horrible quality

Cheaply made, it broke while being put together. I would not recommend this to anyone for any reason. I’d rather fill my trash can with rocks. At least those can be found free in my own yard.

use proper bulb & this thing is GREAT!

I was VERY leary of buying this item due to the reviews. Went out on a limb and bought it anyway. At first, I was just as disappointed as the other reviewers. BUT, sought out a 60w “Flood” type bulb and this thing suddenly worked like a charm. The problem with a regular bulb is that the light is not “directed” through the wheel; everything gets bright behind the wheel and the effect of color is minimal. Once flooded with proper light, it was great. Really enjoyed it with our aluminum tree!

Packed well and all peices were there with instructions. Price was good for this product if it worked. The problem was with it staying in the possion we wanted. Used only twice and had to prop it up. Not satisafied. Oldies but goodies and not always good.

This product is sheer joy. It was so easy to setup, I did it within 5 minutes. I would rate the quality of the product as very good value for money.
The speed of rotation is pleasing, not too slow or fast. This product indeed brings back childhood memories. Not a bad deal at all when you can re-live your bygone days with this old style yet brand new product. I have been very happy with it. In fact, this will be the third Christmas season I am going to be using it. Talk about buying a long lasting product for a few bucks!
Last year we changed the lamp with a brighter one to get even better results. Overall, this has been the best online buying experience for me.
